Shaz (Sharon Lee Lane)

Shaz is a talented singer/songwriter on the rise, who is based in Dubbo.

She has been gaining a reputation as one of the hottest new names in Australian Country Music.

November 2006, also saw the release of her debut EP “Left It All Behind” – an EP that Shaz thought would never see the light of day due to the fact, whilst in the production stage, she was diagnosed with a life threatening illness (but that’s another story).

The single “Left It All Behind” has received tremendous airplay in Australia and internationally with excellent feedback.

Shaz has the ability to captivate an audience and entertain the crowd, which has established her as a true crowd pleaser. Her performances certainly reflect her love of music and her songwriting brings an innovative flavour and unique style to the country music scene.

2007 is going to be an amazing year for Shaz, who is currently writing songs and working on her first album.

It also takes her to the Dreaming Festival at Woodford, where she will be featured as up and coming new artist and support act for the Wolverines at Dubbo in May.
