This year saw David’s first EP – It’s Just Turned Drinking Time – bag him a number of award nominations including the Tamworth 2008 Geoff Brown Memorial TIARA plus a first time berth in the Hot 100 Country Chart.

The year has seen Dave busy finishing a great new album to be released at the end of the year.

While fans and the industry are waiting, he decided to release a new EP The Devil’s New Girlfriend.

The title track is a tongue in cheek song expressing a humorous side of life and shows yet another side to Dave’s talent as a songwriter, plus the production talents of arry Jon Nanos, top pickers like Nathan Warrick, Dave Moore and Hamish Davidson, and back-up vocals from Kinta Dando.
