Connie Kis Andersen

ONCE AGAIN: SECOND ALBUM FOR CONNIE KIS ANDERSEN TO BE RELEASED IN APRIL.

Just returned from a successful trip to Nashville, W A artist Connie Kis Andersen has hit the ground running with preparations for the release of her new album; Once Again.

Described as ‘even better than the first album’ by reviewer Burt Everett of the Bundaberg Guardian, the album is distributed by One Stop Entertainment and will be available in stores in April.

The first single from the album, a light hearted ode to the Aussie Mere Male, will be released on April 9 through NfS 113 on track # 5 and has been touted as ‘must listen to’ with its strong hook, fun lyrics and great country feel.

In support of this release Andersen will be appearing in NSW at the following venues:

• April 11 Hexham Bowling Club •
• April 12 Wyong RSL •
• April 13 Antill Park Golf Club Picton •
• April 15 Beresfield Bowling Club (5.15pm) •

More appearances on the East coast are planned throughout the year, details of which are yet to be confirmed with applications to Gympie and Mildura Festivals also on the table.

Her activities in the US have been warming up too. Plans for a national release of her cover version of Wicked Game have been secured to coincide with the release of a video in support of the track.

Tom Pick, engineer and producer on both Gone Wishin’ and her new album, Once Again, won his 16th Grammy whilst Andersen was in the US, presenting a perfect reason to celebrate.

Her performances at venues around Nashville including the world famous Bluebird Cafe were well received with invitations to return. In addition, she was privileged to be invited to sing on the same session as the Jordanaires.

So stay tuned because it’s all happening in 2007 for this outstanding singer/songwriter!
